Macedonias finance ministry sells EUR 81.9mn in three-, six-month T-Bills.

Macedonias ministry of finance sold MKD 5.04bn (EUR 81.9mn) of three- and six-month T-Bills. The ministry offered MKD 3.12bn of three-month bills without foreign exchange clause and the entire amount was sold. The yield on the issue was 4.2%, unchanged from the auction held on Feb 21. Banks bought 97.4% of the issue, and bank clients purchased the remainder. The ministry also offered MKD 1.7bn of three-month bills with EUR clause and the entire amount was sold. The yield on the issue was 4.1%, unchanged from the auction held on Feb 21. Banks bought 56.44% of the issue, and bank clients purchased the remainder. The third issue was for six-month bills with EUR clause at the amount of MKD 625mn. The issue was undersubscribed as the demand totalled only MKD 217.1mn. The ministry accepted all offered bids. The yield on the issue was 4.1%, unchanged from the auction held on Feb 7. The entire issue was bought by bank clients. According to data of the ministry, T-Bills with a total amount of MKD 4.83bn are maturing today, March 7.
