Macedonian telecoms regulator to call an auction for 4G frequencies.

Macedonian agency for electronic telecommunications plans to call a public tender for frequencies of the fourth generation mobile telephone networks (4G), the country's Economic Chamber announced. The tender is part of the country's strategy for digitalisation, which should be finalised by June 2013. The Macedonian market is represented by Vip operator (a subsidiary of Telekom Austria Group), T-Mobile Macedonia and ONE (owned by Telekom Slovenije).
