Macedonian firm Granit to build EUR 6.7mn road to Sun City complex.

Construction company Granit announced that it has signed a contract worth MKD 412.3mn (EUR 6.7mn, VAT included) for the construction of a regional road connection to the planned elite residential complex Sun City, a release on the website of the Macedonian Stock Exchange informs. The agreement was signed with the public enterprise for state roads. The road construction works must be completed within 18 months. We remind that in January Turkeys Cevahir Holding paid the price of EUR 1.6mn for an 83.6 ha construction land plot near Skopje to be used for the construction of Sun City. The investor must submit a plan of the complex within a year, after which a building permit will be issued.
