Macedonia's official election results confirm VMRO-DPMNE's victory.

Macedonia's State Election Commission (SEC) presented the final results of the early parliamentary elections held on June 5, Macedonian state news agency MIA reported. The voter turnout was 63.48% with 1,156,049 citizens casting their vote. The VMRO-DPMNE-led coalition "For Better Macedonia" won 438,138 votes (38.98%), followed by SDSM-led coalition with 368,496 (32.78%), DUI - 115,092 (10.24%), DPA - 66,315 (5.9%), NDP 29,996 (2.67%), VMRO-NP - 28,217 (2.51%), New Democracy - 19,958 (1.78%), United for Macedonia - 17,081 (1.52%), LDP - 16,551 (1.47%), etc. Ruling VMRO-DPMNE won 53 lawmaker seats, opposition SDSM - 42, ethnic Albanian ruling coalition partner DUI - 15, opposition ethnic Albanian party DPA - 8, and ethnic Albanian party NDP - 2. VMRO-DPMNE also won the three MP seats in the diaspora election units. SEC will review the final report today, thus officially closing the election process, and will submit the report to the parliament.
