Macedonia's finance ministry sells EUR 17.4mn of three-month T-Bills.

The ministry of finance announced that it has sold MKD 1.07bn (EUR 17.4mn) of three-month T-Bills. The ministry offered MKD 690mn of T-Bills without foreign exchange clause and the entire amount was sold. The yield on the securities was 4.2%, unchanged from the auction held on Oct 4. Banks bought 94.2% of the issue, and the remainder was purchased by bank clients. The ministry also offered MKD 380mn of three-month T-Bills with EUR clause and the entire amount was sold. The yield on the securities was 4.1%, unchanged from the auction held on Oct 4. Banks bought 94.74% of the issue, while the remainder was purchased by bank clients. According to the ministry's calendar, T-Bills with a total amount of MKD 1.08bn are maturing today (Oct 19).
