Macedonia's drug maker Alkaloid boosts sales by 14.7% y/y in Jan-Sep 2011.

The sales revenues of Macedonia's largest pharmaceuticals producer Alkaloid have increased by 14.7% y/y to MKD 4.95bn (EUR 80.4mn) in January-September, according to the consolidated income statement published on the website of the Macedonian Stock Exchange. Exports accounted for 58.8% of sales. The company's operating profit rose by 2.7% y/y to MKD 511mn, and the bottom line added 2.6% y/y to MKD 437.8mn.
