Macedonia IT sector should expand export potential ICD Survey.

Macedonian IT sector has the biggest potential for development in terms of export of IT products, local media said quoting a study of ICD Adriatic on Macedonia s IT industry for 2008. The domestic IT sector generated more than USD 50mn from exports in 2008, up 51.8% from 2007, IT minister Ivo Ivanovski said at a news conference. The ICD survey showed that there were 898 ICT companies with 2.3% of the total workforce operating in the country in 2008. Ivanovski vowed to propose to the government to promote stimuli for integration of ICT solutions among SMEs.
