LV: Latvian LDZ Cargo volumes down by 8% y/y in Jan-Nov.

Latvian railroad companys Latvijas Dzelcels, cargo unit LDZ Cargo indicate a total cargo volumes of 45.0mn tons in Jan-Nov, which indicates decline of 8% y/y. In November cargo volume stood at 4.2mn tons, which indicates a decline of 1.2% y/y. Import cargo accounted for 37.7mn tons of cargo in Jan-Nov period, down by 12.2% y/y. Export cargo increased by 46.3% y/y in Jan-Nov period and stood at 2.9mn tons. Transit cargo amounted to 3.2mn tons in Jan-Nov, which indicates 15.4% y/y increase. State company Latvia Dzelcels is the sole owner of the LDZ Cargo.
