By bne IntelliNews April 15, 2011
As announced by PM Valdis Dombrovskis, Latvia will be able to use EUR 300mn from EUR 650mn that were reserved from the international support loan for ensuring financial markets stability. The final agreement on this was reached, among others, with current IMF/EC mission to Latvia. Prerequisite for receiving the funds is submission of the privatisation strategy of the Citadele Banka (restructured part of the state-bailed out Parex Banka, countrys second largest bank before the crisis) to EC.
