LV: airBaltic passenger turnover up by 9.8% y/y in Jan-Nov.

According to the announcement made by company representatives, airBaltic airline transported a total of 3.75mn passengers in the first eleven months of 2009, which makes a 9.8% y/y increase. In November alone, passenger turnover increased by 12% y/y to 0.31mn passengers. airBaltic noted that number of transit passengers jumped three-fold y/y to 1.24mn people in Jan-Nov, accounting for 33% of total passenger turnover in the reporting period. airBaltic airline transported a total of 2.59mn passengers in 2008, which made a 29% y/y increase.
