LV: airBaltic passenger turnover up by 19% y/y in Jan-Feb.

According to the announcement made by company representatives, airBaltic airline transported a total of 0.386mn passengers in the first two months of 2010, which makes a 19% y/y increase. In February alone, passenger turnover increased by 27% y/y to 0.187mn passengers, while number of passengers served from Riga Airport went up by 33%. airBaltic operated 7,576 flights in Jan-Feb and 3,565 flights in February alone (29% y/y increase). Cabin occupancy rate stood at 61% in February, down by 1pps y/y. Last year company's passenger turnover amounted to 2.76mn passengers, which made about a 6% y/y increase.
