LUKoil to invest over USD 3.2bn in its assets in Kazakhstan.

Russian oil major LUKoil plans to invest over USD 3.2bn in its assets in Kazakhstan. The investments will be made in ,,short term", Andrey Kirillov, the director of LUKoil Ovesrseas Kazakh unit has stated. LUKoil is currently involved in 6 production, 3 geological and 1 infrastructure project in Kazakhstan. The investment are to be earmarked mainly for drilling wells and infrastructure development as well as the completion of program of associated petroleum gas utilization at all production projects.
