Lukoil expands network in Macedonia.

Russia's Lukoil has opened its 16th filling station in Macedonia, the country's state news agency MIA reported. This is the first station of Lukoil in the lakeside city of Ohrid. Deputy PM in charge of economic affairs Vladimir Peshevski attended the opening ceremony and said that the station meets the latest global standards. Peshevski also noted that Lukoil has invested over EUR 30mn in Macedonia so far. Lukoil entered Macedonia in August 2005 and opened its first filling station in the country on September 1, 2006. Lukoil Macedonia General Manager Andrey Kuku said that they will aim to celebrate the operation of 20 stations in Macedonia by the end of this year.
