LT: Premier Capital to invest EUR 8mn in McDonald's in Lithuania.

Lithuanian McDonald's catering network operator Premier Capital announced that it would invest LTL 28mn (EUR 8mn) into development and expansion of the network. The company plans to invest the sum till 2013 with which to renovate current restaurants, and as well open three new restaurants. After the expansions there would be 11 McDonald's restaurants. Virginija Girulska, market manager for Lithuania, indicates that in December a new and the biggest restaurant in Kaunas is due to open, which had investments of LTL 6.6mn. In 2009 the restaurants saw total 3.8mn of visitors, which indicated decline of 6% y/y.
