LT: Lithuanias power exchange to be integrated into Nordic Nord Pool Spot.

Lithuanias power exchange Baltpool is going to be integrated into Nordic power exchange Nord Pool under a memorandum signed between two bourses. This marks Lithuanias integration into Baltic regions electricity market, Baltpool representatives stress. Nord Pool Spot is the largest market for electrical energy in the world, with 338 companies trading on the market that made a turnover of more than EUR 10bn last year. Baltpool, launched in the beginning of this year has 26 participants and made LTL 1bn in turnover, with 70% of domestically consumed electricity being purchased at the market.
