LT: Lithuanian trade deficit widens to EUR 0.2bn in April.

Lithuanian foreign trade deficit amounted to LTL 0.8bn (EUR 0.2bn) in April, the Statistics Lithuania reports, which indicates an increase by a factor of 2.6 y/y. Exports of Lithuania amounted to LTL 4.1bn in April, which indicates an increase of 36.2% y/y, while imports stood at LTL 4.9b, which indicates an increase of 46.9% y/y. In Jan-Apr period, exports of Lithuania stood at LTL 14.7bn, which indicates 17.2% y/y increase, while imports stood at LTL 16.8bn, which indicated 21.8% y/y increase. In Jan-Apr, main exports markets were Russia (13.3% of total exports), Germany (11.1%), and Latvia (9.2%). During the period main imports partners were Russia (35.5% of total imports), Germany (10.4%), and Poland (8.7%).
