Lithuanian airports handled total of 208,900 passengers in January, up by 0.4% y/y, Statistics Lithuania announced. 25.3% of all passengers were travelling to the UK, 11.7% to Germany, 7.8% to Norway, and 7.2% to Denmark. Norway destination grew by 76% y/y in January, Denmark passenger traffic grew by 7.3% y/y, while the UK recorded decline of 7.8% y/y. 94.8% of all passengers in January travelled on regular flights. In January there were total of 3,000 flights operated in Lithuanian airports, down by 5.6% y/y. Lithuanian airlines carried total of 18,400 passengers in January, down by 11.7% y/y. |
