LT: Lithuanian airports passengers flow up by 15.9% y/y in Jan-Jul.

Lithuanian airports handled combined passenger flow of 1.5mn people in Jan-Jul period, which indicates 15.9% y/y increase in the figure, Statistics Lithuania indicates. 20% of total passenger flow travelled to the UK, second most popular destination was Germany accounting for 10.3% of total passenger flow, Latvia accounting for 9.6% of the total, and Denmark accounting for 6.7% of total. 91% of total passengers flow travelled on regular flights. Lithuanian airlines handled 243,500 passengers in Jan-Jul period, which indicates 49.6% y/y decline in the figure. 87.1% of all passengers travelling with Lithuanian airlines were carried on charter flights. In July airports passengers flow increased by 10.3% y/y, and amounted to 277,300. Lithuanian airlines carried total of 67,200 passengers in July, down by 48.5% y/y.
