LT: Lithuanian airports passenger traffic up by 16.7% y/y in Jan-Feb.

Lithuanian airports recorded total passengers traffic of 0.3mn in Jan-Feb period, which indicates 16.7% y/y increase. 21.4% of total passenger traffic travelled to the UK, 12.7% travelled to Germany, and 9.2% of total to Latvia. In y/y terms Germany recorded passengers volume increase of 39.7% y/y, Latvia up by 10.4% y/y, the UK up by 6.4% y/y. Lithuanian airlines carried total of 30,000 passengers in Jan-Feb period, which indicates a decline of 59.4% y/y. 78.3% of all the passengers carried by Lithuanian airlines were carried on charter flights, which indicates 54.1% y/y decline in the figure.
