LT: Lithuanian airlines passengers' traffic up by 27.2% y/y in Jan-Aug.

Lithuanian airlines carried total number of 633,900 passengers in Jan-Aug, which indicates 27.2% y/y increase in the figure, Statistics Lithuania announced. 77.7% of the passenger flow were travelling on charter flights, which indicates 6.3% y/y increase. Lithuanian airlines carried total of 1,700 tons of mail and cargo in Jan-Aug. Lithuanian airports handled total of 1.5mn passengers in Jan-Aug period, which indicates 23% y/y increase. 21% of total travelled to the UK, 11.6% to Germany, and 9.3% to Denmark, as well as 8.3% to Latvia.
