LT: Finance police raids one of markets in Lithuania.

Financial crime agency has started raids in one of the largest markets in Lithuania Gariunai, arresting more than 60 people and raiding around 120 retail places in the market. The investigators indicate that the raids helped to identify 4 well organized crime groups that could have hid taxes in amount of up to LTL 10mn (EUR 2.9mn). The investigators also raided one bank in Lithuania, which name remains undisclosed. The investigators pointed out that goods were found with value of LTL 5.0mn, which were acquired without any documentation, as well as cash in amount of LTL 1.2mn, which has been earned from crime activities.
