LT: Danske records net loss of EUR 4.2mn in Lithuania in Q1.

Lithuanian branch of Danske bank recorded net loss of LTL 14.4mn (EUR 4.16mn) in Lithuania in Q1/10 vs. net loss of LTL 31mn for the same period of last year. The bank has made provisions for bad loans in amount of LTL 29.5mn during the period, thus the loss. As of end-March the bank's credit portfolio declined by 18.3% y/y to LTL 3.96bn. Deposits portfolio jumped by 38% y/y to LTL 2.6bn, with total assets of LTL 5.4bn (down by 13.9% y/y).
