LT: Bank of Lithuania external assets up by LTL 1.5bn m/m in February.

Bank of Lithuania external assets grew by LTL 1.5bn (EUR 434mn) m/m in February and amounted to LTL 23.5bn, the bank announced. External liabilities amounted to LTL 469mn as of end-Feb, up by LTL 254mn m/m. Residents deposits with the Bank of Lithuania grew by LTL 785mn, and amounted to LTL 9.6bn as of end-Feb. Central government deposits grew by LTL 898mn m/m, to LTL 5.9bn, and other MFI deposits declined by LTL 94mn m/m, down to LTL 3.6bn. Money in circulation grew by LTL 228mn m/m, up to LTL 11.4bn as of end-Feb, while capital and reserves grew by LTL 211mn m/m, to LTL 2.0bn.
