LT: Bank of Lithuania external assets up by 1.6% m/m in October.

Bank of Lithuania assets amounted to LTL 22.2bn (EUR 6.4bn) as of end-October, up by 1.6% y/y, the bank announced. External liabilities increased by LTL 167.5mn m/m to LTL 227.5mn. Residents deposits increased by LTL 15.3mn m/m and amounted to LTL 8.8bn as of end-October. Other MFIs deposits increased by LTL 167.6mn m/m and stood at 4.0bn. Central government deposits with Bank of Lithuania declined by LTL 152.4mn m/m, and amounted to LTL 4.8bn as of end of the month. Cash in circulation increased by LTL 65.4mn m/m to LTL 11.0bn as of end-October. Capital and reserves grew by LTL 28.2mn m/m and stood at LTL 2.0bn.
