LT: Bank of Lithuania external assets down by EUR 170.5mn m/m in October.

Bank of Lithuania external assets declined by LTL 588.7mn (EUR 170.5mn) m/m in October, and amounted to LTL 16.3bn as of end of the month. The bank's external liabilities declined by LTL 15.6mn m/m and stood at LTL 755.3mn as of end-October. Cash in circulation increased by LTL 129.7mn m/m, and stood at LTL 8.5bn as of end of the month. Residents' deposits with the band declined by LTL 732.2mn m/m, and stood at LTL 4.8bn as of end of the month. Central government's deposits declined by LTL 711mn m/m and stood at LTL 2.3bn. Other MFI's deposits contracted by LTL 21.3bn, and stood at LTL 2.4bn as of end-Oct. Capital and reserves amounted to LTL 1.9bn as of end-Oct, after an LTL 25.4mn m/m increase.
