LT: 13% of Lithuanians plan to emigrate.

13% of respondents in a nationwide survey indicated a plan to emigrate from Lithuania in the coming 12 months, market research company RAIT reports. The company surveyed 1,038 citizens in Lithuania in second half of July. 9% of respondents indicated that their family members are planning to emigrate for job search in the coming 12 months. Inga Nausediene, chairman of the board at RAIT, noted that comparing the survey with one carried out in 2010, this year more senior people with higher income were planning to search for job abroad. 25-34 years old age group were the most inclined to go abroad. 31% of people planning to emigrate, chose the UK as their destination, 28% chose Norway, and Germany was chosen by 11%.
