Local Citibank unit lends EUR 12mn to Bulgarian Development Bank.

The state-run Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) received a EUR 12mn short-term loan from the local branch of the US Citibank, BDB said on its website. BDB ranked sixteenth-largest in terms of assets as of end-May. It specialises in loans for the small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) which face difficulties to obtain private financing.
