Labor Ministry to eradicate disparity in wages in Kazakhstan.

The Labor and Social Protection Ministry plans to revise labor law in order to eradicate disparity in wages of Kazakh and foreign workers, the Kazakh PM press service has informed. The Ministry is presently examining the situation with the wages. It is also planned to introduce regulations envisaging liability of entities responsible for wage disparity. The measures are being taken in order to implement Kazakh president's order. Changes in labor law are effect of the growing social discontent over disparity in wages which is being voiced by different groups of striking workers.
