Kyrgyz president seeks to expand cooperation with Kazakhstan.

Kyrgyz president Almazbek Atambayev visited Kazakhstan seeking to expand cooperation. After a meeting with Kazakh leader Nursultan Nazarbayev, the parties noted that it is time to move from word to specific deeds. It was also agreed that Kazakh experts will help Kyrgyzstan to join the customs Union and the Single Economic Space. Nazarbayev also urged Kyrgyzstan to pull the economy and macroeconomic indicators to the level of the Customs Union and declared Kazakhstans support. The parties also agreed to open one more checkpoint on the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border.
