Kosovo President calls for border-free economic zone with Albania.

Kosovo President Behgjet Pacolli has proposed the establishment of a border-free economic zone between Kosovo and Albania, Alsat TV reported. Pacolli, who arrived on a two-day official visit to Albania on March 22, said also the two countries should intensify their bilateral economic ties through various business forums and co-operation of the respective chambers of commerce. Kosovo is also interested in the establishment of a joint energy system. Pacolli held meetings with the Albanian President Bamir Topi, PM Sali Berisha, MPs and business representatives. This was his first official visit since he took office on February 22.
