Economy minister Mladjan Dinkic discussed with his South Korean counterpart Young Jun Park in Seoul the possibilities for construction of an industrial park for car parts suppliers for Korea's automotive industry, the Serbian government said in a statement posted on its website. Jun said that several car part makers could start production in Serbia, adding that the output would be exported to the Hyundai and Kia factories in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, as well as other plants cooperating with Korean part producers, such as Volkswagen. The visit of a delegation of Korean car part producers, led by Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) is now expected to visit Serbia and further explore possibilities for the industrial park construction. |
