Kazakhstans 2010 budget deficit lower than expected.

Kazakh budget deficit amounted to KZT 554bn (USD 3.8bn) in 2010. Budget revenues made up KZT 3.279tn while expenditures reached KZT 4.238tn (both exceeded plan). Loans (in revenues) made up KZT 102.3bn while sales of state financial assets provided for KZT 700mn. The government expected revenues at KZT 3.378tn while expenditures at KZT 4.182tn. As revenues exceeded plan more substantially than expenditures, deficit came well below projected KZT 803bn (4.1% of projected GDP).
