Kazakhstan to simplify permits issuance for SMEs.

Kazakhstan plans to simplify the issuance of permits for small and medium enterprises, Deputy Minister of Regional Development Kairat Uskenbayev has informed. The ministry plans to develop a common list of all permissions for business enterprises by the end of the year as well as to determine standard permit procedures, the minister added. Presently, the works are underway on the draft law to regulate the number of permits and to prevent their growth. The ministry also plans to automate the process of permits issuance and all permits will be issued online by 2015. The authorities already reduced the number of permits for business enterprises by one-third in 2011 and by other 30% in 2012.
