Kazakhstan to set up a plant of fresh and chilled lamb. KazAgroFinance signed an agreement on the project with the Italian company Rovani and LLP Batis Mark Lamb. The parties will establish modern meat processing plant for production of export-oriented fresh and chilled lamb that will be also vacuum packed in line with international standards. The company plans to export more than 5,000 tonnes of the lamb a year. The capacity of the plant will be 1,400 heads per shift. The facility will produce meat and bone meal, inedible fat and skin for use in industrial processes from meat waste.
