Kazakhstan to raise flour exports in 2010.

Kazakhstan plans to increase flour exports in 2010 to 2.5mn tonnes of flour, the president of the Kazakh flour producers' union, Yevgeniy Gan, told journalists. According to him, the exports of flour in 2009 amounted to 2.24mn tonnes, thus the exports this year will go up by 11.6%. Gan also noted that Kazakhstan holds about 19% of the world market on flour exports and has been the leader for the consecutive four years, Gan said.
