Kazakhstan to launch construction of Beynau-Bozoy gas pipeline in December.

Kazakhstan will officially launch construction of Beynau-Bozoy gas pipeline in December, head of KazTransGaz Serik Sultangaliyev has informed. To remind you, a few weeks ago, Kazakh PM Karim Masimov instructed the government to speed up works related to the pipeline. Beynau-Bozoy pipeline will connect western Kazakhstan with the South Kazakhstan region. The pipeline's capacity will be 10bcm of gas. The route is part of trunk pipeline Central Asia-China. The part from Turkmenistan to China through Uzbekistan and southern Kazakhstan is already operational. Beynau-Bozoy route will be used to feed domestic demand in Kazakhstan as well as to exports to China.
