Kazakhstan to focus on economic competitiveness this year.

Kazakhstan will focus on the competitiveness of the economy and its diversification in 2011, economic development minister Zhanar Aitzhanova has said. The countrys economic policy will be directed at improvement of economic competitiveness and implementation of programs aimed at economic diversification, firstly the state program for industrial and innovative development. The government will also continue its efforts to provide stable employment and income growth of the population as well as implement state programs for the development of human capital, including education, healthcare and language development.
