Kazakhstan to be ranked among top 10 oil exporters in 2020.

Kazakhstan will be ranked among top 10 world oil exporters in 2020, according to the latest World Energy Outlook of International Energy Agency. According to the report, oil production in Kazakhstan will reach 5.4mn bpd between 22025-230 while in 2009, output stood at 1.5mn bpd. What is more, the role of the Caspian region will increase in satisfying global energy demand - the Caspian region share in world oil exports will widen from 6% in 2009 to 9% in 2035. Thus, Kazakhstan and the region will substantially contribute to the global energy security.
