Kazakhstan raises oil refining by 10.9% y/y to 7.185mn tons in H1.

Kazakhstan raised oil refining by 10.9% y/y to 7.185mn tons in H1. In June alone, the refineries processed 1.066mn tons of oil. Oil processing was conducted by 3 refineries: Pavlodar increased oil processing by 20.2% y/y to 2.479mn tons, Shymkent increased oil processing by 3.4% y/y to 2.45mn tons and Atyrau raised processing by 10.4% y/y to 2.251mn tons. Production of gasoline went up by 17.1% y/y to 1.848mn tons, diesel fuel output grew by 9.3% y/y to 2.095mn tons and heating oil production decreased by 6.2% y/y to 1.773mn tons.
