Kazakhstan raises oil and gas condensate exports by 3.9% y/y in Jan-Aug.

Kazakhstan increased oil and gas condensate exports by 3.9% y/y to 47.6mn tones in Jan-Aug, the State Stat Agency has informed. Exports of oil and gas condensate amounted to USD 36.754bn, up 49.7% y/y. Gas exports reached 15.552bn m3 which means a growth of 33.2% y/y. In monetary terms, gas exports skyrocketed by 240% /y to USD 1.727bn. Gas imports to Kazakhstan amounted to 2.789bn m3 (down 8.1% y/y) worth USD 236mn (up 4.9% y/y). Oil products exports decreased by 27.6% y/y to 2.38mn tones worth USD 1.247bn (4.4% down). Oil products imports reached 0.941mn tones (22.1% down) worth USD 960.7mn (up 71.3% y/y).
