Kazakhstan raises gold production by 47% y/y in January.

Kazakhstan increased gold production by 47% y/y to 3,624 tonnes of raw, semi-finished and powder gold in January, the State Stat Agency has informed. Refined gold output skyrocketed by 81.9% y/y to 1,189 tonnes in the first month of the year. At the same time, the country produced 76,690 tonnes of raw, semi-finished and powder silver in January which means growth of 55% y/y. Production of refined silver surged by 56% y/y to 76,541 tonnes.
