Kazakhstan plans free economic zone on Turkmen border.

Kazakhstan is planning to establish a free economic zone on the border with Turkmenistan, Kazakh PM Karim Masimov has stated. The zone would be created after completion of a rail link between Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran. The new route is planned to be commissioned in December this year. To remind you, the 3 countries agreed on the railway in 2007. Presently, the works on the route are underway.
