Kazakhstan opens permanent office at Organization of Islamic Conference.

Kazakhstan opened a permanent office at Organization of Islamic Conference, the Foreign Ministry has informed. The step is aimed at strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and the influential international association that has 57 member countries from Europe, Asia, Africa and America, the ministrys press report said. This is also an evidence of Kazakhstan's firm determination to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation with countries of the Muslim world, which steadily support Kazakh initiatives in the international arena and help to implement important socio-economic and infrastructure projects in Kazakhstan. The head of Kazakhstans permanent office at the OIC became Bakhyt Batyrshayev.
