Kazakhstan lowers GDP growth forecast.

Kazakhstan lowered its forecast for GDP growth to 5.8% y/y this year, down from earlier expected 6% y/y, according to the Eocnomy Ministry statement. At the same time, the ministry said that GDP will grow by 6% in 2013 and 6.1% y/y in 2014. Last year, GDP grew by 7.5% y/y. The EBRD expects Kazakhstans GDP to grow by 5% this year while the IMF by 6% y/y.
