Kazakhstan likely to send Kashagan oil via Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.

Kazakhstan is likely to send oil from Kashagan oil field via the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline, head of KazTransOil Kairgeldy Kabyldin has said. Kabyldin also informed that oil from the first phase of Kashagan development will b exported via Tengiz-Novorossiysk pipeline while from the second phase via the BTC. Significantly, Tengizchevroil used to send oil via the BTC route but due to lack of agreement no deliveries are being realized presently.
