Kazakhstan lifts ban on oil products export to Kyrgyzstan.

Kazakhstan lifted ban on oil products exports to Kyrgyzstan. The decision was made after a meeting of Kazakh president Nursultan Nazarbayev with his Kyrgyz counterpart Roza Otunbayeva. The sides also agreed to hold a meeting of the intergovernmental council of the 2 countries and to resume work of Kazakh-Kyrgyz investment fund. Nazarbayev also instructed the government to ensure uninterrupted supply of electricity and support of neighbours during the winter season. It was also agreed to lift a ban on exports of diary and meat products from Kyrgyzstan to Kazakhstan that was in force for 3 years.
