Kazakhstan and India agreed to postpone transfer of 25% share in Satpayev block to February. The stake is planned to be transferred from the national oil and gas holding KazMunayGas to ONGC Videsh. However, according to the Kazakh oil minister Sauat Mynbayev, a few issues remained to be resolved. The two parties also agreed to hold the first meeting of the Joint Working Group on Trade and Economic Cooperation in January. ONGC and KazMunayGas signed an agreement on the Satpayev block back in January 2009.
