Kazakhstan harvests 13.6mn tones of grain in bunker weight.

Kazakhstan harvested 13.6mn tones of grain in bunker weight, agriculture minister Akylbek Kurishbayev has said. According to him ,,taking into account the remains of the last year's harvest, this amount is quite enough to meet domestic market needs and keep the average annual export potential. In 2009, gross harvest in Kazakhstan amounted to 22.7mn tones in bunker weight and 20mn tones after processing. To remind you, the Agriculture Ministry was predicting 13.5mn tones of the gross grain harvest for this year.
