Kazakhstan expects GDP to grow by 1.5-2% y/y in 2011.

Kazakhstans GDP is expected to grow by 1.5-2% y/y in 2010. However, in budget law for this year, GDP growth is projected at 2.4%. The EBRD expects GDP to grow by 1.6% while IMF by 2% this year. In 2009, GDP increased by 1.1% y/y while industrial output increased by 1.7% y/y. This year, industrial production is likely to grow by 3%, as exports conditions are likely to be more favourable.
