Kazakhstan establishes new logistics centre.

A new logistics centre National Centre of Transport Logistics was established under the national railway carrier Kazakhstan Temir Zholy. The new centre will become a strategic partner in the field of transport and logistics studies as well as coordinator of all new business initiatives and projects in transport logistics, the railway carrier has said. The prerequisite for establishing the centre was Kazakhstans aim to transform into the trade, logistics and business hub in the region. The centre will facilitate the development of the countrys transport and logistical capacity through the information-analytic provision, support and development of practical recommendations for decision-making on transport policy. The centre also plans to create a single information portal on transport logistics and issue guide for logistics operator and leading companies in the country.
